Let's face it global warming has become a complicated issue for world leaders. While trying to stabilize the economy and fight greenhouse gases is a tough job. Global emissions of CO2 jumped by the largest amount on record in 2010. Greenhouse gas emissions rose 5.9 percent in 2010, according to Global Carbon Project. This high increase has got scientists worried that it will be very difficult to slow down global climate change in the decades ahead.

The political side of reducing emissions is not getting any easier either. Before leaders can reduce emissions, they must come to a consensus, and this is hard because we may be facing a slowdown in the economy. The United Nations has sponsored annual global talks on global warming. What comes up in these talks are things like protecting tropical rainforests and lowering emissions. Protecting rainforests is easy to say, but developing nations often depend on these resources to earn money.
